I know what it’s like to collaborate over a folding table. I know what it’s like to show up early and leave late. I have found many alternative uses for gaff tape. I have celebrated my birthday in a rehearsal room.

I know what it’s like to bring to life the magic that is live theatre.
So I also know that that magic comes at a cost - your time, your budget, your sanity. My primary goal is to help you make that magic. The work you do is too important and too time consuming for you to also have to worry about marketing the show.

Hi, I’m Mary M. Thames.

I started Thames Royal Media to provide high quality digital marketing services to arts, culture, and nonprofit organizations that lack the tools, time, and budget to hire a full-time marketing staff member.

I hold a bachelor’s in theatre (focus on directing) from University of North Texas and a master’s in arts administration with a certificate in performing arts enterprise from Boston University. I’m an arts gal through and through - outside of the theatre I am also a creative writer, an artist, and a musician (flute, piccolo, guitar, ukulele).

My decade of marketing experience is unique and varied - from creating and producing VBS advertisements for a midsize church when I was in college to single handedly marketing almost every production I have directed. Each of my creative pursuits has given me an experience that benefits my clients. I would be honored to play the role of your marketer. You deserve the royal treatment.
